Why are you interested in medicine/Why do you want to be a doctor?
• I have always been interested in the human body – how we grow, how we work, how we heal… all of it! I especially love working with kids and studying their development (whether from a physiological perspective or even psychologically), so I have wanted to be a pediatrician for quite some time.

Co-op/work/volunteer experience:
• UW iGEM (Synthetic Biology) team – 2016
• UofT – Health & Human rights case competition winner – 2016
• Clinic – Pediatric clinic in Toronto for 3 years, Family health clinic in Waterloo
• Research with AHS Prof on heart failure management

If you were to give advice to other pre-med students, what would it be?
• Your biggest competitor should be yourself! Don’t psych yourself out by comparing yourself to others. Constantly strive to better yourself and grow as an individual.

Fun fact:
• I work at the Student Success Office as a Peer Success Coach so ask me about anything from time management to study tips!
